Questions buyers ask
Can I import a Honda NSX from Japan?
Yes, once the specific car is 25 years old from its build month and clears EPA and customs. Most 1990s cars are eligible now; 2002–2005 cars become eligible from 2027 onward.
Is a Japanese-market NSX different from the Acura NSX?
It's the same Japanese-built car, sold at home as a Honda, in right-hand drive, and with Japan-only versions such as the NSX Type R.
Can I import an NSX Type R?
Yes. The NA1 Type R was built from 1992 to 1995, so every one is past 25 years. Very few were made, so the search takes time.
When can I import an NSX-R?
The later NSX-R was built from 2002 to 2005, so those cars reach 25 years between 2027 and 2030, each by its build month.
Do you have an NSX in stock?
We mainly source to order. Tell us your spec and budget, and ask about any cars we currently have.
Can I register an imported NSX in Texas?
Yes. After customs, the car gets a Texas safety and emissions inspection, a VIN inspection and a title application. The steps are on our Texas import page.
